Marine Cargo We Can Evaluate

From complete boats to engines, masts and marine spare parts.

Vessel transport is planned around actual transport dimensions rather than model name alone. Exact acceptance depends on route, equipment, carrier and port or terminal capability.

Motor Yachts

Motor Yachts

Eligible motor yachts can be evaluated for road, sea or project-cargo transport according to LOA, beam, height, weight and lifting requirements.

Sailing

Sailing Boats

Sailing yachts and boats can be evaluated with mast, rigging, keel, cradle and transport-height details clearly declared.

RIB

Rigid Inflatable Boats

RIBs can be evaluated on suitable trailers, cradles or within other transport structures depending on dimensions and destination.

Leisure Boats

Motorboats & Day Boats

Smaller leisure boats and motorboats can be reviewed for standard boat-trailer, special-road or sea transport where suitable.

Hull Cargo

Essential Vessel Measurements

A yacht quote starts with the real transport dimensions.

Vessel Dimensions to Provide

  • LOA / overall vessel length
  • Maximum beam / width
  • Overall transport height
  • Draft / keel depth where relevant
  • Actual vessel weight
  • Weight with trailer or cradle where applicable
  • Mast dimensions if transported separately
  • Any removable parts that affect transport dimensions

Handling Information to Provide

  • Existing cradle or boat trailer
  • Cradle dimensions and condition
  • Lifting points
  • Sling positions if specified by manufacturer
  • Center of gravity where available
  • Crane or travel-lift access
  • Loading and unloading site conditions
  • Recent vessel photos from all sides
Model specifications from a brochure may not equal the vessel’s transport dimensions. Radar arches, antennas, hardtops, masts, propellers, keels, trailers and cradles can materially change the height, width and total transport weight. Always provide current measurements for the actual vessel.
Road Transport Planning

Oversized boats require route, height and loading review.

Beam

Transport Width

Wide vessels may exceed standard road width limits and can require special equipment, permits or route planning.

Height

Overall Transport Height

Boat height plus cradle or trailer deck height must be reviewed against bridges, tunnels, overhead infrastructure and route restrictions.

Weight

Axle & Payload Planning

Total vessel, cradle and trailer weight affects equipment selection, axle loading and route suitability.

Loading

Crane / Travel Lift

Origin and destination must have suitable lifting or launch capability when the boat cannot load or unload using its own trailer.

Securing

Cradle & Support

Hull support and securing should be appropriate for the vessel design and selected transport equipment.

Preparation

Reduce Transport Profile

Where technically appropriate, removable antennas, arches, masts or accessories can reduce transport dimensions before movement.

Sea Transport Options

Different boats require different ocean-transport structures.

Container

Container-Compatible Craft

Small boats, personal watercraft and marine components can be evaluated for standard containers where dimensions and safe securing allow.

Flat Rack

Out-of-Gauge Cargo

Some boats and marine equipment can be evaluated on flat-rack equipment when width, height, weight and carrier acceptance permit.

Open Top

Height-Sensitive Cargo

Open-top equipment may be evaluated for suitable boats or marine units exceeding standard container height, subject to carrier conditions.

Ro-Ro

Trailer-Mounted / Rolling Units

Ro-Ro may be evaluated where the boat is on suitable rolling equipment and the relevant carrier, vessel and port accept the configuration.

Lift-On / Lift-Off

Crane-Handled Vessels

Some vessels can be evaluated for crane loading where the port, vessel, lifting arrangement and carrier support the operation.

Project Cargo

Large Yacht Movements

Larger or non-standard yachts may require project-cargo planning rather than a standard container or trailer solution.

Ro-Ro, flat-rack, open-top and lift-on/lift-off are not universally available on every route. Availability must be checked against the actual vessel, port pair, carrier, schedule and handling capability.
Vessel Preparation

Fuel, batteries, gas cylinders and loose equipment must be declared.

Fuel

Fuel Tanks

Fuel quantity and tank condition should be declared. Carrier-specific draining or fuel-level requirements may apply.

Batteries

Marine Batteries

Battery chemistry, quantity, condition and installation status should be declared, especially for lithium battery systems.

Gas

LPG / Gas Cylinders

Gas cylinders and pressurized containers should be identified before transport because removal or separate regulated transport may be required.

Fluids

Engine & Hydraulic Fluids

Engine oil, hydraulic fluids and other operating liquids should be declared according to vessel condition and transport mode.

Interior

Secure Loose Equipment

Loose items inside cabins, lockers, engine rooms and deck areas should be secured before transport.

Exterior

Protect Sensitive Components

Antennas, navigation equipment, covers, windows and exposed fittings may require removal or additional protection.

Marine Spare Parts

Not every marine shipment is a complete boat.
